Below, you will find grouped samples of my written work, plus a handful of produced videos. You can also get a sense for my “eye” as an amateur photographer by perusing the rest of this website, which is my personal travel blog. I’ve compiled some of my favorite photos here. If you need more samples of my writing or video production, please let me know via the contact info on my resume or by submitting this form.
Ghostwritten Op-Eds – During my two years at the Houston Area Women’s Center, I ghostwrote several Op-Eds that were published in the Houston Chronicle. Here are two:
Houston Area Women’s Center Op-Ed and article for Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Houston Area Women’s Center Op-Ed in response to Bill Cosby allegations
Website Articles, Press Releases and Blog Posts – All of these were written by me.
Print Materials – I worked with Croxson Design to create a suite of print collateral materials for the Houston Area Women’s Center. All copy was written by me, and most of the photos were taken by me as well. Here are some of the pieces we produced:
Annual Reports – I produced the 2013 and 2014 annual reports for the Houston Area Women’s Center. Below is a PDF of the 2014 publication. Croxson Design did the artwork. I provided art direction, wrote the copy and took most of the photos.
E-Newsletters and E-blasts – Each month, either I or one of my staff produced a newsletter and several e-blasts for the Houston Area Women’s Center. Here are a few that were written and designed by me:
Media Statements – In the wake of major events and mission-related news, I often quickly wrote and posted statements for the Houston Area Women’s Center on our website and social media platforms. Here are some examples:
Non-Profit Videos & PSAs – All of these videos for the Houston Area Women’s Center were written and edited by me. Other than the media air checks, all agency b-roll, staff interviews and event footage was shot by me.
TV Promos – These are a few of the on-air promos I produced as Promotion Manager at KRIV/KTXH in Houston.
And some older, fun TV promos — when I had more opportunity to do fun spots!
