PHOTOS: Waking up with the Charles Bridge
The Charles Bridge, or Karlův most, is arguably the most iconic landmark in Prague. It’s a pedestrian bridge that spans the Vltava river, connecting Malá Strana on the west with Staré Město on the east.
I don’t know how many people cross the Charles Bridge every year, but for most hours of the day it’s jam-packed with tourists, touts, buskers, portrait artists, and vendors selling souvenirs. But there’s one way to have the bridge almost all to yourself — visit at sunrise!
