It’s such a wonderful time of year to explore Rome. So far, I’ve enjoyed sunny skies and low-60s temps. There have also been very few crowds — except on the morning I stopped by St. Peter’s Square. Guess who’s back from Mexico?!
Over the course of two days, I’ve managed to squeeze in a lot of sightseeing, including visits to:
- The National Museum of Rome
- The Pantheon
- Piazza Navona
- Campo de’ fiori market
- Trevi Fountain
- The Spanish Steps — which were closed!
- St. Peter’s Square
- Trastevere neighborhood
- The Vatican Museum
Below are some pictures I took along the way. Unfortunately, photos are NOT allowed inside the Sistine Chapel. Also, St. Peter’s Basilica was closed on the day I visited Vatican City — so I’m due for a return visit soon!
