It’s the most touristy thing to do in Tokyo — but you can’t NOT do it. The famous Shibuya Crossing is just as much fun watching from the street as it is from high above.
Somewhere along the line, people figured out that the best way to view the crossing was from the second floor of the Starbucks across from the Hachiko exit. This means that there’s not only a line for your latte, there’s also a crowd of people waiting for the good seats by the windows.
I managed to snag a good seat and recorded this video of the crossing on a busy Sunday afternoon. I also recorded a street level version below that. Enjoy!
